u do this on chrome or on mobile? i wonder how u manage the grp cause i have much more def and hp when i change eq but archers take me out in 3 shots right before a spear or bruiser can touch me and i didnteven seak bout crit at all.....lix? skillbuild?

Releasing item build The whole build was based on a hunch that rogues had enough in their class skill mechanics to put out incredible amounts of DPS without relying on the best gear.

When I bought these items, these were the costs. Some inflation might have occurred since then but it's worth it.

Agile Lifethief of Potency [16] - 30k
Agile Ranger Cloak of Will [15] - 30k
Clever Ranger Leather of Security [16] - 3.5k
Swirling Loop of Security [16] - 1k
Agile Jeweled Pendant of Brutality [15] - 35k

The Security and Will items provide higher-than-normal armor. About 450 armor and 950 HP is needed to survive Jarl's wind-up red-- meaning if you run with a warrior who can CS without fail, you can go much higher Dex and drop HP to about 600.

Too bad the whole point of this build was so you can go it alone in incredibly low timings, WITHOUT having to wait for everyone to port in from town, get potions, etc.

As a matter of fact, Jarl is the easy part of the fight-- the group of five before requires much more tactical precision. Don't worry, read on.

Taking out the group of five:

The group is composed of 1 Bruiser, 2 Archers and 2 Spear Dudes.

The Bruiser has a windup that is somewhat similar to Jarl, and he has a ton of armor. The Archers' normal attacks do a lot of damage, and they skip backwards every couple shots, but have very little HP/Armor. The Spear Dudes are Spear Dudes.

Therefore, the priority of killing them matters-- Archers (before they spread out, and they HURT)--> Bruiser --> Spear Dudes (harmless really).

To do this fast and dirty and minimize time and pot spam, we have to kill them fast. How? Read the step-by-step now.

1. Zone in.
2. Run in as normal.
3. Cast Aimed Shot every time it's off CD to get a full +40% critical.
4. Time your last Aimed Shot so it goes backward to the bridge mob as you reach the rock, and---

5. Charge up Razor Shield (charging doubles its damage). Yes, 20% dodge upgrade with duration as well....
6. .. while running to the mobs, release the Razor Shield and charge up Smoke Bomb (bigger AoE).
7. Stop ONLY when you're facing one of the archers (north archer is better so he doesn't run to Jarl) and release Smoke Bomb.
8. Blow all your cooldowns taking out the Archer, he should last like 2 seconds.
9. Kill other Archer.
10. Kill Bruiser.
11. Kill Spear Dudes.

12. It saves some time if you are in position to pull Jarl right after the last Spear Dude drops. Make sure you're not behind a rock or too close to the crates on the left. Use NB/AS to pull.

13.
14. Profit.

Jarl doesn't really need any technique. Keep NB and AS stacks up on him and alternate Razor Shield and Smoke Bomb to mitigate damage on yourself. Between the two skills you're protected almost 100% of the time.

Well. That's about all. It was never hard to design this method and I believe the top-tier rogues are already using this method to farm. The point is-- the rogue class is broken compared to sorcs and warriors when it comes to endgame and most bosses. Unless there are fights which require massive AoE, a rogue is simply the best choice in a game where you can spam pots like no tomorrow. Good hunting.

in case you didnt know yet, its definitley a better choice to use agile lifethief then heartseeker. the overall dmg is much higher using no skills. the skill dmg is not yet that clear to do maths with but it seems its the same aswell for both weapons. so as long as they dont fix or balance or raise the cap, ALP is best weapon for rogue so far .
